Position Schedule: Mon-Thru 4:30am-3:00pm

Position Summary

Responsible for manufacturing responsibilities on designated equipment, keeping to production schedules, and complying with all quality standards that apply to manufacturing and operations.

Position Description

  • Understand and follow manufacturing instructions and Quality System Requirements as per training
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, shop orders, work instructions and all operations and manufacturing instructions.
  • Meet and exceed production and quality goals
  • Perform daily duties in manufacturing areas such as completing daily labor sheets.
  • Work with management to resolve discrepancies and errors.
  • Follow up and correct problems if required.
  • Understand and comply with company safety rules and company policies.

Approval

The Executive Team (CEO, Controller, Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer, VP of Operations, Human Resources) will be involved in all hires. Team determines need, Human Resources will facilitate the process and select candidates, Controller will verify budget for the position. The position’s direct manager will also be part of the interviewing and decision making process as well as a possible peer.

Position Requirements

  • Able to opearte CNC Machine
  • Basic English reading/writing skills
  • Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Willing to work overtime, longer days, and some weekends if required
  • Ability to interpret and translate standard operating procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge.
  • Ability to perform basic math

Equipment Used: CNC Machine

Work Environment: Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations. Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 100 pounds multiple times per hour (heavy loads must be team-lifted). Work is performed in a sometimes hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment, and around dust, oil, grease chemicals, and other substances.
