2nd Shift Stick Handler

Bradford Forest LLC, a leading hardwood lumber and dimension parts manufacturing company situated in the rolling hills of Northwestern Pennsylvania, is looking for a highly reliable 2nd Shift Stick Handler for our Bradford, Pennsylvania location. The 2nd Shift Stick Handler is responsible for organizing and stacking lumber retrieved from conveyor.

Qualification & Requirements of Stick Handler:

  • An understanding of sawmill manufacturing operations with a priority on working safely with all necessary PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of working efficiently while maintaining a high level of precision.
  • Reliable individual with an excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities of Stick Handler:

  • Flipping boards to inspect for defects
  • Stacking boards accurately
  • Operate Forklift (optional to learn)
  • General cleanup of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Sweeping and using air hoses to clean work areas.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned.

Stick Handler Pay & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay - Starting pay $14.00/hr.
  • Full-time position with overtime hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30PM-12:00AM and Friday 1:30PM-10:00PM
