Position: NDT FPI Technician (Level 2 Certified)

Location: Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ), Pulau Indah, Selangor

Current Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Require for shift in future)

Contract Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOL (Renewable based on performance)

Salary: RM 2500 – RM3500 (Negotiable based on experience & skills)

Interview: Face-to-face with practical test

ABOUT US:

The company is an emerging company with solid experience in overhauling aeroderivative turbines. Their Port Klang facility aims to become a center of excellence for the aeroderivative components repair in the APAC Region, dedicated to innovation and operational excellence. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; vocational/technical training is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a workshop or component repair environment is preferred.
  • Open for fresh graduate (Machining, manufacturing, mechatronic) – NO Engineering
  • Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in cleaning, blending, and welding.
  • Ability to follow instructions, read work orders, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
  • Able to handle manual labor.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different repair processes.
  • Diverse populations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

· Proven experience in performing FPI inspections on aeroderivative turbine components.

· Excellent understanding of NDT principles and methodologies.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

· Experience with other NDT methods such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) or Eddy Current Testing (ECT).

· Knowledge of aeroderivative turbine operations and maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on a wide range of turbine components in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.

· Utilize various NDT equipment and techniques to detect surface defects and ensure component integrity.

· Accurately document inspection findings, including detailed reports.

· Interpret and analyze FPI results to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

· Maintain detailed records of all inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.

· Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by adhering to strict safety protocols and best practices.
