Our client is a boutique US-based eCommerce agency headquartered in Michigan. With a strong focus on Amazon, they provide full-service account management including listing optimization, A+ content execution, advertising strategy, and growth consulting.

With approximately 15–20 active client accounts ranging from emerging brands to established sellers, the agency operates in a highly performance-driven environment where revenue is directly tied to results.The team is lean, collaborative, and growth-oriented. As they scale and onboard larger brands, they are looking for someone who can take ownership of accounts, think strategically, and contribute meaningfully to long-term agency growth.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership Amazon PPC role designed for someone who can manage campaigns independently while contributing strategically within a small, agile agency.

You will initially own at least three lower-tier client accounts end-to-end, while supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts alongside the Advertising Lead. As the agency scales, your level of ownership and strategic involvement will increase.This role requires more than execution — it demands strong analytical thinking, accountability, proactive idea generation, and the ability to connect advertising performance to overall business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Execution

  • Own end-to-end Amazon PPC management for a minimum of three client accounts.
  • Build, launch, structure, and optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
  • Manage ad budgets ranging approximately from $3K to $20K+ monthly.
  • Conduct keyword research, targeting expansion, bid optimization, and negative keyword refinement.
  • Monitor performance daily and optimize based on ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CVR, and revenue impact.

Strategic Contribution

  • Develop advertising strategies aligned with each client’s broader business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to scale accounts while improving efficiency and profitability.
  • Bring forward new ideas, testing initiatives, and process improvements to enhance performance.
  • Support strategic planning for larger and higher-tier accounts in collaboration with the Advertising Lead.
  • Think beyond campaigns and understand total account contribution to growth.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis using advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation).
  • Extract insights from data and translate them into actionable optimizations.
  • Support internal reporting and quarterly strategic planning discussions.
  • Manage multiple account data sets simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Collaboration & Agency Support

  • Work closely with Account Management to align PPC efforts with client objectives.
  • Participate in internal strategy discussions and contribute insights confidently.
  • Attend occasional quarterly client strategy calls to understand goals and performance context.
  • Maintain responsiveness and clear communication within a fully remote setup.

Ownership & Accountability

  • Operate with strong autonomy and minimal supervision.
  • Take full responsibility for performance outcomes on assigned accounts.
  • Maintain organization and prioritization across multiple client workloads.
  • Commit exclusively to this PPC role (no competing Amazon PPC engagements).

Competencies and Qualifications
Must-Have

  • 2+ years managing Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) with measurable results.
  • Agency experience handling multiple clients in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong data analysis using Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, lookups) and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in keyword research, bid optimization, negative keyword strategies, and budget allocation.
  • Proven ability to drive ACOS, ROAS, and revenue improvements independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts, taking ownership of day-to-day operations.
  • Capability to execute growth-oriented strategies and suggest optimizations beyond routine tasks.
  • Clear, professional communication for internal teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Highly structured, precise, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with third-party Amazon advertising tools (Pacvue, Viral Launch, Merchant Words, Helium 10, Sellics, Jungle Scout, DataHawk, etc.).
  • Advanced reporting or dashboard creation for client performance review.
  • Experience managing accounts across other marketplaces (Walmart, Target).
  • Amazon Advertising Certifications or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience scaling accounts with varying budgets, including small- to mid-tier clients
