The Opportunity Our Commercial Delivery Solutions organization has an exciting opportunity for an IT Program Manager supporting the Asia Pacific region. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, implementation, and delivery of large‑scale Commercial solutions using Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and related technologies for the Diabetes Care business. You will be a trusted technology partner, demonstrating mastery in enterprise‑level program management, application development, vendor management, and business engagement. What You’ll Do Lead strategy, planning, scoping, and business case development for major initiatives. Oversee delivery of global programs—managing scope, budget, timeline, risks, and resources. Coordinate interdependent project activities within changing priorities and resource constraints. Drive full program & project lifecycle activities (initiation → closure). Assess and manage scope changes, risks, and issues; escalate as needed. Ensure performance is measured against original plans and budget. Lead cross‑functional project teams and secure required resources. Communicate status updates, progress reports, and decision‑support insights. Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and create process flows. Lead project meetings and act as escalation point for all program matters. Bridge functional and technical teams to ensure successful implementations. Travel up to 10% internationally as required. Ensure compliance with Abbott IT controls, security, and corporate policies. Required Expertise Strong knowledge of Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and modules such as Align, Engage, Campaign Manager, and PromoMats. Experience delivering solutions in sales, marketing, and connected commercial ecosystems. Background in healthcare or life sciences technologies. Mastery of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid software development methodologies. Experience leading complex programs in global, matrixed environments. Preferred Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus. 10 years of IT experience across multiple business functions. Minimum 5 years managing enterprise application development & implementation projects. Experience with: Global data warehouse solutions Master Data Management (MDM) Salesforce CRM (Healthcare/Life Sciences) Onshore/offshore delivery models Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
