About the position

We’re looking for an account management leader with internal or external creative agency experience to join our growing team. Goldmind Creative is Synchrony’s in-house full-service agency. The Account Management team at Goldmind Creative builds strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering solution-focused support throughout the creative process. We grasp clients’ business goals, industry landscape, and challenges, acting as the central connector to drive growth through strategic storytelling and creative insight. As translators, diplomats, and therapists, we navigate diverse perspectives and resolve challenges. Occasionally you will be required to commute or travel for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events. Field Sales and some Commercial team roles may have varied location requirements based upon partner obligations or preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Manager: Owns and manages the daily client relationship. Sets expectations and supports creative team, ensuring client ask and creative solutions align. Serves as an extension of client by providing creative guidance and feedback through the lens of the client’s needs.
  • Briefing & Collaboration: Writes creative briefs. Works with creative strategy, creative, project management and integrated production. Facilitates and translates feedback loops between client and agency
  • Problem Solver: Expertly handles unexpected client concerns or internal challenges. Maintains calm and keeps things moving forward
  • Manager of People: Can lead and coach a team, ensure accountability, troubleshoot when needed and drive a strategic-thinking and creative culture
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Journalism or Communications OR in lieu of degree a high school diploma and 10+ years of work experience as an account/project manager in a fast-paced, creative agency environment
  • 5+ years of account management experience in a fast-paced creative agency environment
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
  • Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.
  • Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.
  • All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

  • Experience within health and wellness marketing preferred
  • Digital Marketing Fluency: Strong understanding of core digital channels (SEO/SEM, paid social, email) to strategically challenge recommendations, audit agency performance, and ask the right questions
