Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Consumer Engagement Lifecycle Marketing role will be responsible for implementing strategies that will drive increased cardholder activation and engagement for Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard® and Sun Country Visa Signature® Card. The individual will oversee existing cardholder lifecycle campaigns and manage complex marketing execution from end to end, working closely with the other Lifecycle Marketing team members, portfolio marketing leaders and cross functional teams.  This individual will also lead critical growth initiatives like retention and best customer efforts.  The role will work with analytics, finance, legal and performance marketing teams as well as external agencies to manage campaign designs, develop and manage creative assets, execute the campaigns and track performance.  This role needs to be an expert in Workfront and feel confident with the processes and procedures needed to launch a campaign.

The successful candidate will have the following essential responsibilities:   

  • Oversee a variety of Lifecycle efforts including Incentives, Benefit Reinforcement, and Retention, and confidently develop campaigns to reflect the desired strategy

  • Lead marketing campaign strategy, design and execution including program setup and tracking in Workfront, workbook development, audience segmentation review and approval oversight, creative development and execution, collateral management, legal reviews and revisions, and marketing services / outside agency management. 

  • Deepen partnership with emerging SYF and Vendor technology and platform refinements (SYF Products, Features, Channels & Capabilities) to fuel growth

  • Lead the internal campaign review process and coordinate materials needed for each (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Fair Lending, Marketing Tollgate)

  • Lead the oversight of campaign overview / tracking / results documents

  • Build strong relationship with the Marketing leaders on the team and act as the right hand when it comes to issues management and campaign status updates

  • Proactively identify and escalate issues

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 9+ years of Digital and Lifecycle Marketing

  • 5+ years of experience in digital platform management and/or marketing with a combination of web, email, mobile experience, with the ability to create, manage and deliver against large, interdependent project plans.

  • 3+ years of analytics experience with competencies in analytic tools, dashboards and tracking – includes tracking code implementation.

  • Ability to travel as needed (~20%).

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Degree from an accredited university or college; preferably in Business, Marketing or Technology

  • Consumer/digital first mentality

  • Marketing experience preferably in cobrand, digital, technology platform, direct marketing, credit card or financial services.

  • Experience influencing organizations and other professionals

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                      

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
