PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary objective of this critical role is to oversee and consolidate corporate analyses, dashboards, and reports which can be leveraged by key business stakeholders (e.g. brand teams, commercial market teams, etc…) to drive the business and support business decisions at the brand, function, and geographic levels.


PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES:
The primary objective of this critical role is to oversee and consolidate corporate analyses, dashboards, and reports which can be leveraged by key business stakeholders (e.g. brand teams, commercial market teams, etc…) to drive the business and support business decisions at the brand, function, and geographic levels.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure all recurring monthly and quarterly management reporting is updated and saved on the Finance Sharepoint site. Initially there will be opportunities to enhance and refine existing reporting. Over time the role will evolve from report creation to report analysis as the understanding of the business expands. (15% of time)
  • Create value-added business analyses to be leveraged by the brand, commercial and function teams for special ad-hoc projects. Examples of these analyses could include: inventory reporting, market dashboards, door P&Ls, brand market penetration dashboards, etc.. These represent newly created reports which will become part of the FP&A’s published management reporting. (40% of time)
  • Business Manager to support the estimate and business analyses for Japan and Oceania (15% of the time.)
  • Compile presentations, including presentations for VIP, retailer meetings, etc... (15% of time)
  • Support the annual budget processes on corporate aspects that can be leveraged across the branded Business Managers (10% of time)
  • Administrator role for the Finance Sharepoint- grant and remove access to the site, organize the monthly and quarterly reporting, send updates when information becomes available, etc… (<5% of time)

This role will be a diverse, dynamic FP&A role with evolving analytical responsibilities as the knowledge and understanding of the company expands. The role is perfectly suited for someone with aspirations to eventually become a strategic business partner to one of our brand clusters.

Successful candidate will exhibit a strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytic expertise. Should have the courage to initiate change when appropriate and has the interest and ability to work across the organization with different people. Strong communication skills including the ability to convey ideas, conclusions and recommendations to senior management.


JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Analytical / problem solving skills. Able to take business need/request/idea and translate it into data driven analyses and draw conclusions or form actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Able to work with all levels of the organization and establish a strong rapport.
  • Strategic, thinks out of the box and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks/projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analysis
  • Able to manage large amount of data.
  • Must be systems savvy and detail oriented. Experience with SAP, CPM, Power BI, Power Query is a plus.
  • FMCG, Luxury Retail industry, or Travel retail experience a plus.
