Job Description

A private residence in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Live-In Butler to deliver exceptional personal service within a discreet, high-standard household environment.

This is a guest-facing, service-focused role requiring impeccable presentation, refined service skills, and a natural ability to anticipate needs without instruction. The Butler will play a key role in maintaining the home’s daily rhythm, ensuring seamless hospitality, and upholding absolute discretion at all times.

The position is live-in, with private accommodation located just outside the main residence, offering comfort and privacy. This role is well suited to a professional with a background in luxury hospitality, whether in five-star hotels, private households, yachting, or exclusive private clubs.

Responsibilities

Service & Hospitality

  • Deliver formal and informal food and beverage service in line with European service standards.
  • Set tables, serve meals, and clear service areas according to household expectations.
  • Support private entertaining and guest hospitality with confidence and professionalism.
  • Anticipate the preferences and needs of principals and guests, acting proactively.

Food & Beverage Support

  • Assist with light meal preparation including breakfasts, simple dishes, snacks, drinks, and canapés.
  • Plate, reheat, and present meals as required.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and service spaces.

Household & Personal Support

  • Oversee daily service flow to ensure the residence is consistently well presented.
  • Coordinate smoothly with household staff and manage interactions with external personnel.
  • Provide wardrobe care, valet services, and packing/unpacking assistance.
  • Run household errands, including grocery shopping.
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and household logistics as needed.

Standards, Etiquette & Discretion

  • Uphold household protocols, etiquette, and privacy at all times.
  • Maintain a calm, polished, and professional presence in all situations.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Butler or senior hospitality professional in luxury environments (private residence, hotel, yacht, or private club).
  • Strong expertise in high-end service, including both formal and informal food and beverage service.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Formal hospitality or butler training is an advantage.
  • Comfortable in a live-in role and seeking a long-term position.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Polished, service-oriented, and detail-driven.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and trustworthy.
  • Deep respect for boundaries, confidentiality, and household privacy.
