Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. In this role, you will handle transactions accurately, assist customers with their needs, and promote our products through engaging demos and upselling techniques. Duties

  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions with accuracy and speed
  • Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience
  • Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales
  • Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized store appearance
  • Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform basic math calculations for transactions
  • Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
  • Support team members with supervising tasks when needed and contribute to a positive store atmosphere

Experience

  • Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging customers and team collaboration
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is advantageous
  • Experience in customer service roles that involve upselling, product demos, or merchandising will help you excel in this position
  • Supervising experience is beneficial for supporting team leadership tasks and ensuring smooth store operations
