The Role

A senior client role within WTW’s Corporate Risk and Broking business, supporting growth and retention from the large/complex/multinational client space, reporting to the Head of Large Accounts, Asia. This role is expected to drive the growth, development and retention of WTW’s portfolio of large clients, including Multi-National Corporations, scaling the practice across Asia. Success will be achieved by:

  • Developing a best-in-class strategies to win and retain large clients, able to craft strategies to quantify, mitigate and transfer risk, taking advantage of specialist industry expertise and market know-how.

  • Bringing the entire WTW value proposition to bear in the large account/MNC segment, with a principal focus on growth orientated activities working with existing and new clients.

  • Extending WTW’s large account capabilities across targeted markets in Asia through personal expertise and the development and coordination of resources across geographies and lines of business.
     

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Asia Large Accounts Leader to meet new business and retention targets, managing pipelines and investments to support profitable growth.

  • Working with senior stakeholders to utilize and embed key client frameworks including account planning and cross selling to drive commercial outcomes across the segment.

  • Coordinating senior internal and external resources to deliver outstanding results for clients, ensuring client satisfaction, positive net promoter scores and client retention.

  • Shaping and leading thinking at all levels of client organizations to influence positive outcomes for WTW.

  • Represent WTW in relevant industry communities to deliver industry-specific expertise to our clients.

  • Partner with business leaders to negotiate pricing/fees and ensure client relationships are secure and financially sound.

  • Act as a role model throughout WTW by embodying our values of client focus, teamwork, integrity, respect, and excellence.

  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of products and services offered by WTW.

  • Ensure compliant processing of contracts as per applicable regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Educated to degree level with ACII, ACIM or equivalent industry accreditation preferred
  • Holds BCP and ComGI certification
  • 20 years’ experience in the Insurance industry, experience in Asia is preferable  but not essential 
  • Extensive client facing experience and familiar with large and complex global Retail client requirements.
  • Comfortable in operating with a growth orientated agenda and KPI’s.
  • Strong client networks and industry centers of influence.
  • Can demonstrate ability to navigate and bring the best results from our business.
  • Ability to build, maintain and manage multiple relationships at the most senior levels within client organizations.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders (internal and external) via formal and informal channels.
  • Track record of growing large account portfolios.
  • Ability to diagnose complex client issues, comprehend the full breadth of WTW’s services, blend them into practical solutions that meet our clients’ needs, and articulate them to C-Suite buyers across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to successfully direct multiple projects and ensure quality deliverables on time and within budget.
