About the position PSG Ambulatory EHR Implementation- responsible for the development and deployment of enterprise implementation standards for operation initiatives across the enterprise for both clinical and non-clinical end users. This includes all phases of the project lifecycle including but not limited to determining strategic project timeline, leading front office and clinical discovery, validating vendor services, determine the educational and communication strategy, resource management, and leading a successful implementation. This team is responsible for the delivery of standard clinical and non-clinical workflow best practices related to clinical and front office functionality in the medical practice setting. Responsibilities • EHR Subject Matter Expert, able to oversee and resolve complex issues affecting multiple practices and specialties with thorough understanding of clinical and non-clinical workflows. • Develops and implements clinical and non-clinical end users through the standard HCA implementation phases to ensure proper use of the EHR platform. • Assist providers and end users (clinical and non-clinical) throughout the implementation to identify training gaps and workflows that may need additional support. • Research and propose EHR enterprise implementation standards for best practices and delivery of clinical and non-clinical workflows in the EMR application. • Consult with cross-functional PSG teams as the implementation SME to deploy the HCA standard clinical and non-clinical workflow support. • Deploys day-to-day EHR support to clinical and non-clinical end users and division support resources. • Partners with ITG, Clinical Applications, and Solutions to resolve clinical and non-clinical issues during support. • Develop and facilitate process documentation for the Ambulatory EHR team to standardize implementation process. • Oversight of resources, issues, assisting with development of end user education, and communicate updates to all clinical and non-clinical field personnel during implementations. • Mentor and coach Division EHR Manager and CPSS Analyst(s) to ensure projects are efficient and accomplished in a timely manner. • Ability to plan and coordinate activities, manage priorities, personal, and employee time effectively, distribute workloads, and delegate responsibility and authority without loss of supervisory control. • Exhibits ability to start new assignments and opportunities without prompting, contributes ideas and projects, and promptly addresses problems. • In-depth knowledge of EHRs including eClinical works, Experity, Epic, Cerner, and Meditech to provide instruction on clinical and non-clinical workflow. • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency. • Assists the Sr. EHR Analyst, EHR Manager, EHR Director or Division EHR Manager in conducting communication with practice staff and physicians to introduce the project and educate the practice about PSG AEHR's standardized implementation process and expectations. • Develops and deploys PGS AEHR standardized implementation tools, reports and resources to identify and prioritize providers to be implemented through the coordination of Sr. EHR Analyst, EHR Manager and EHR Director; provides control and status updates of implementation tasks according to project schedule. • Partners with ITG to resolve technical issues with hardware, network, WIFI and other IT related issues identified in PSG practices. • Works collaboratively with Division EHR Manager and CPSS's to ensure an efficient and smooth virtual implementation is accomplished, guiding the CPSS's through the standardization approach and utilizing all resources available during the virtual implementation while holding all roles accountable for standard processes. • In-depth knowledge of all practice workflows including front office, clinical, and revenue cycle. • Deploys clinical and non-clinical workflow and business processes to successfully support the virtual implementation of HCA-hosted PPMS and/or EHR solutions. • Stays current and informed on Payor Initiative policies, compliance and regulatory guidelines, while implementing workflows to maintain compliance. • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PSG EHR's as appropriate, responds to inquiries from PSG providers and staff to ensure efficient and timely actions are taken. • Manages the transfer of the practice to ongoing support using the PSG AEHR's standardization model following agreed upon post go-live support period to ensure a smooth transfer for front office and clinical staff. • Conducts role appropriate support for all staff in a PSG practice. • Presents regularly to PSG leadership on upcoming projects, milestones, and risks. • All other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, health care or related field preferred; will consider experience in lieu of education. • PMP preferred. • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in information systems training, implementation and/or project management. • Proficient with arenaflex Suite.
