We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to support the Reservations Enhancements initiative for our airline client based in Dubai. The role requires a candidate with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, particularly in the airline domain. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team within a leading airline group, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in the aviation industry.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Execute manual and automation tests for airline systems, focusing on inventory, pricing, booking, and payment functionality.


  • Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks for automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Robot Framework.


  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman to ensure seamless system integration.


  • Conduct database testing, specifically for MongoDB and Oracle, to validate data consistency and system performance.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, document, and maintain test cases based on system requirements and business logic.


  • Report and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure resolution.


  • Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve testing practices.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years working within the airline industry.


  • Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.


  • Expertise in API testing using Postman or similar tools.


  • Proficiency in database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.


  • Solid knowledge of airline domain concepts, including inventory, pricing, booking, and payment systems.


  • Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, Rest Assured, or similar tools.


  • Familiarity with Java or Python for test automation scripting.


  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.


  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
