Job Summary

The General Worker cum Driver is responsible for providing transportation services and performing general maintenance and support duties to ensure the smooth daily operations of Rizq Educare Sdn Bhd. This role includes driving duties, basic upkeep of facilities, and assisting with operational tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

1. Driving Duties

  • Safely transport students, staff, or management as scheduled or instructed.
  • Deliver and collect documents, goods, or supplies when required.
  • Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off according to the assigned schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks (fuel level, tyre condition, engine oil, etc.).
  • Report any vehicle damage, servicing needs, or issues to Management immediately.
  • Ensure vehicle road tax, insurance, and service records are up to date.

2. General Maintenance & Support

  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repair work at the centre (e.g., simple fixing, replacement, arrangement).
  • Assist in setting up and arranging classrooms, equipment, or furniture when needed.
  • Support cleanliness and general upkeep of the premises and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and moving items such as supplies, furniture, or equipment.

3. Operational Support

  • Assist in purchasing or collecting office supplies, food items, or other operational needs.
  • Support school events, programmes, or activities when required.
  • Assist teachers and administrative staff with operational tasks when needed.

4. General Duties

  • Ensure safety practices are followed during driving and work activities.
  • Maintain a responsible, disciplined, and professional attitude at all times.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum PMR/SPM or equivalent.

License

  • Valid Malaysian Driving License (Class D or relevant class).
  • Good driving record with no major traffic offences.

Experience

  • At least 1–2 years of driving experience is preferred.
  • Experience in general maintenance or handyman work is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety.
  • Ability to perform simple repair and manual work.
  • Good attitude, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
