We are seeking a highly execution-oriented Content Marketing Manager to lead the hands-on implementation of SMS, blog, and loyalty program content. This is a contractor role for an experienced operator who thrives in the platforms, builds campaigns end-to-end, and ensures flawless deployment.
The primary responsibility is execution: building, scheduling, QA’ing, launching, and optimizing content directly within marketing platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable owning tactical delivery from start to finish. Strategic collaboration with the Director, Content and Lifecycle Marketing is expected but won’t be the primary responsibility.


RESPONSIBILITIES


SMS Marketing (Primary Channel – Heavy Execution)
  • Generate ideas for SMS
  • Brief SMS projects to Creative Team
  • Maintain SMS campaign calendar, ensuring sends complement but aren’t duplicative of email
  • Build, QA, and deploy SMS campaigns and automated journeys directly in platform
  • Own day-to-day campaign execution, including segmentation and personalization
  • Implement A/B tests (copy, timing, audience) and monitor results
  • Monitor performance and make tactical adjustments to optimize CTR, CVR, revenue, and unsubscribe rates
  • Ensure compliance with SMS regulations and opt-in best practices
Blog Content Management (Production-Focused)
  • Upload, format, and publish content directly in CMS
  • Implement on-page SEO and AEO recommendations
  • Collaborate with Director of Content & Lifecycle Marketing to manage content calendar and generate ideas
  • Brief projects into the Creative Team
  • QA all content for formatting, links, images, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
  • Maintain publishing cadence and ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor traffic and engagement performance
Managing Tool for Pop-ups and Quizzes (Onsite Conversion & Engagement)
  • Build, QA, launch, and optimize Digioh pop-ups and quizzes
  • Execute A/B tests on offer, copy, timing, triggers, and creative to increase email and SMS opt-ins
  • Manage audience targeting logic (i.e. loyalty vs. non-loyalty)
  • Continuously iterate to improve subscriber quality, engagement rates, and overall funnel performance
Platform & Tactical Ownership
  • Operate directly within Iterable, Builder.io, and Digioh
  • Build audience segments and manage targeting logic
  • Conduct pre-send QA checks for every campaign and onsite experience
  • Maintain documentation and campaign trackers
  • Ensure all deliverables are executed on time and error-free
  • Collaborate cross-functionally but retain ownership of execution

WHAT YOU NEED


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SMS, retention, or lifecycle marketing
  • Demonstrated experience building, QA’ing, and deploying campaigns directly within marketing platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Strong communication skills with a performance-driven mindset
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional QA standards
  • Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
  • Analytical and data-driven; able to quickly adjust based on performance
  • Experience with Wrike, Iterable, Builder.io, and Digioh preferred
