This is a remote position that will work east coast hours (8:30am-5:30pm) The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills. Must be able to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities with ease. Job Duties of the Loan Closer include but are not limited to: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Check accuracy for all essential information provided at submission for closing Communicate with loan officer, processing and underwriting staff Prepare accurate figures for monthly payments, escrows, prepaid interest, etc. Produce and organizes all closing documents including conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans Understand and follow all procedures relating to job function to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Act as the point of contact from the time closing is requested through the time the loan is shipped to one of our approved agencies or purchased by the investor Maintain a closing pipeline, completing closing documents within 48 hours of request for refinance and 24 hours for purchase, and deliver the documents in advance of the closing, adhering to the wire cut-off times, clearing branch deficiencies and timely delivery of complete closed loan files Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 3 years mortgage funding/closing experience Encompass experience in paperless environment Analysis of credit reports, bank statements, income documentation and appraisal documents for program compliance maybe required Highly organized, detail oriented and proven ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to adapt to cyclical peaks during the month where volume increases Proficient math skills EMM is proud to offer a wide range of benefits and a very competitive salary.
