The Mailing & Fulfillment Operator position is a Full time, Temporary position.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Verify that processed mail meets established postal service parameters and quality standards. • Read and interpret documents to process PAVE mail, insert, fold, and merge letters and envelopes. • Apply postage using TABS (glue) and LABELS (handwritten addresses). • Operate the card inserting machine efficiently to ensure timely production. • Weigh correspondence to estimate mailing requirements. • Prepare mail information cards for placement in address trays. • Verify address formatting and classify letters according to postal codes. • Ensure correct information is printed before placing cards on the production line. • Extract cards manually or mechanically and verify tray contents for accuracy. • Support sorting machine technicians in case of malfunctions. • Conduct inventory checks in warehouse and production areas to ensure material availability. • Report any operational errors or issues to the Group Leader. • Complies fully and consistently with the Company's standards, policies, and procedures and the local and federal laws applicable to our industry, business, and employment practices. • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, in accordance with the education and experience requirements contained in this document. QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum six (6) months of experience in similar roles (preferred). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in mail processing and inventory management. • Ability to operate and troubleshoot mailing equipment and sorting machines. • Basic mathematical skills to weigh correspondence and estimate postage requirements. • Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and postal regulations. • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with operators and supervisors. • Ability to lift and transport materials within the work area. • Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to workplace safety regulations. • Understanding HIPAA law principles and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and compliance. CERTIFICATIONS/ LICENSES/ PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS • Not applicable to this position. WORKING CONDITIONS The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate due to the operation of mailing and production equipment. • Will operate mailing machines, sorting equipment, and related production tools, as well as use a computer for documentation and inventory tracking. • The employee generally works in a warehouse and production facility, requiring prolonged standing and manual tasks. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime based on operational demands. • Occasional offsite visits may be required for operational support, as requested by the organization. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing mailing, sorting, and warehouse tasks. • Regular use of hands and arms for operating mailing machines, sorting equipment, and handling materials. • Frequent lifting and carrying of mail trays, packages, and materials, typically up to 25 pounds. • Strong visual and auditory skills are essential to operate equipment safely, verify address accuracy, and ensure quality in processed mail.
