Based in Tuas, Singapore

What You’ll Do For Us:

The Warehouse Manager role will be reporting to the Planning & Logistics (P&L) Director of the CPS Singapore plant, and will lead a warehouse team in ensuring Safety, Quality and Shipments On-Time In-Full in the day-to-day operations. The manager will also work with and be supported by various functions in the supply chain, such as Production, Planners, Transport & Logistics, Customer Service and Materials Operations team.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Lead the warehouse team in operations with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Shipments on-time in-full
  • Engage team and create a high-engagement culture
  • Support upskilling and develop people to drive performance and be future-ready
  • Review and plan daily operations with internal and external teams to drive optimal overall capacity management (i.e. asset utilization, equipment and systems uptime and labour capacity)
  • Manage warehouse cost and support the achievement of plant targets/KPIs (such as Perfect Order Rate, Productivity and OEE2 targets)
  • Leading the team as overall warehouse owner, and work with supporting functions such as facility, engineering and general cleaning services to drive overall upkeep of facility conditions such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), 6S and housekeeping
  • Familiarize with company policies and be “audit-ready” for all relevant audits (i.e. KO GAO, ISO, FSSC22000, NEA, SCDF and MOM)
  • Lead the team in site master planning, continuous improvement and root cause analysis to strive for operational excellence in quality/accuracy, capacity, efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations
  • Support Inventory Control by ensuring cycle count is performed as required to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Represent warehouse operations to collaborate, build consensus and drive alignment amongst key stakeholders in support of supply chain and logistics targets, initiatives and programs, and ensure quality, service, efficiency, and delivery to specifications
  • Change Management for Warehouse Operations
  • Manage any third-party logistics services (such as external yard, external warehousing, toll driver, etc.)
  • Benchmark external industrial practices and latest technologies in Warehouse operations
  • Responsible for managing the team’s administration tasks such as resource planning, shift hours approval, leave approval, expense approval, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Demonstrate ability for strong communication and collaborative approach towards work across functions
  • Demonstrate ability for good people management and drive positive engagement amongst a diverse group of individuals in a constantly evolving operational environment
  • Demonstrate ability to manage change at all levels of the organization (i.e. Change Management)
  • Demonstrate strong aptitude for people development in warehouse operations (i.e. upskilling)
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational budget management and supply chain dynamics
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts and principles
  • >3 years of Warehouse Supervisory/Management experience in a high-mix, compact intra-logistics environment will be an advantage
  • Understanding of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), vertical integration of ERP, IT and OT systems, SAP-EWM and Warehouse management system (WAMAS) will be an added advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or another related field will be an added advantage
  • Ability to perform alternating shift work (Mon - Fri, 730AM - 4PM / 330PM - 12MN)
