Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals - Forest Lake is seeking skilled and detail‑oriented Mechanical Assemblers for a growing company in Pine City, MN. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on mechanical work, can interpret drawings and schematics, and thrive in both independent and team‑based environments.

Pay & Schedule
  • Hourly Pay: $25-$30 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM + 4 hours on Friday
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly
  • Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
  • Location: Pine City, MN

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standard mechanical assembly per drawings and bills of material
  • Assemble components according to specifications and verbal instructions
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools
  • Document ECOs accurately
  • Communicate issues to the Assembly Manager and Project Manager
  • Work closely with peers to resolve project hurdles
  • Maintain awareness of timelines and customer due dates

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and assembly aids
  • Prior assembly experience required
  • Machining experience a plus
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Experience with field wiring of electrical components, motors, sensors, valves, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a safe, clean workspace
  • Ability to complete documentation and tasks in a timely manner
  • Outlook experience
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
