In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, set standards for frontend architecture, and collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to build scalable solutions. Responsibilities • Lead the frontend development team, ensuring top-notch code quality, reliability, and user experience • Mentor and coach engineers on architecture, testing, and documentation best practices • Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to turn business goals into scalable UI solutions • Establish and maintain strong engineering processes, including pull request workflows, design reviews, and test automation • Promote smart use of AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality • Drive the adoption of frontend architecture patterns at scale, including Micro Frontends, and leverage monorepo tooling like Nx Skills • 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including 3+ years with React and TypeScript • Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem • Experience designing frontend architecture at scale and working with monorepos • Strong understanding of unit, functional, and integration testing • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work effectively in Agile environments • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience • Experience improving coding speed and quality using GenAI or agentic tools; experience integrating LLM capabilities is a plus • Familiarity with NGINX and modern deployment patterns • Experience designing, consuming, and integrating APIs and working with microservices • Background in cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, Pivotal, etc.) and managing arenaflex/CD pipelines like Jenkins • Previous experience in fintech, especially Investment Banking or Capital Markets, is highly desirable Company Overview • JPS Tech Solutions offers software engineering, cloud, mobile development, and IT infrastructure solutions.
