Role: SAP Business Analyst

Location: Prefer to find local to LA CA, however open to consider remote who MUST support in PST hours

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to support the Cell Therapy business functions as part of our SAP Phase 2 implementation:

Business Scope Responsibilities

  • Master Data Creation: Resources, Recipes, BOMs, and Production Versions
  • Master Data Transfer: Interplant movement of LVV and raw materials between site warehouses (e.g., Tarzana to 700 Progress Way & RMC sites)
  • Master Data Extension: Extend data to plant suppliers
  • MRP Execution: Generate order actions including load demand, purchase orders, and process orders
  • Process Orders: Scheduling and execution for FG and S-FG
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage Apheresis LVV, reagents, and raw material issuance to process orders (including Point of Use/Kanban/Floor stock inventory)
  • Material Transfers Across Sites: Facilitate transfers between Tarzana, RMC, and 700 Progress Way
  • Batch Release (DP): Conduct quality testing and release to inventory
  • Batch Shipment: Coordinate shipment of DP to patients and EU Hub NGF60
Functional Expertise

The role requires reviewing and documenting SAP screens to support business requirements and end-user training across the following modules:
  • SAP MM: Procurement, inventory, and supplier management
  • SAP PP: Production planning and manufacturing
  • MRP: Planning parameters, lot sizing, horizons, and master data setup
  • MDM: Maintenance of material/vendor masters, BOMs, resources, and routings
  • SAP SD: Sales order management and billing
  • SAP FI/CO: Financial accounting and controlling (GL, AP/AR, asset management)
  • SAP QM: Inspection types, sampling, certificates, notifications, and defect tracking
  • QM Master Data: Maintain inspection characteristics, sampling schemes, quality plans, and catalogs
Configuration & Testing
  • Configure SAP modules to align with business needs (organizational units, master data, transactional data)
  • Develop and execute test cases for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Qualifications
  • Must Have: Minimum 5 plus years of SAP functional experience in PP, MM, MRP and related modules
Highly Preferred:
  • Strong understanding of biopharma supply chain processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation or optimization projects
