Job Description


As our organization continues to expand, we are strengthening our development tool landscape to ensure excellence, compliance, and scalability across our global engineering teams. To support this mission, we are looking for a Requirements Management Tools Engineer to join our team in Athens.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the requirements management tools in use (Polarion, 3DS, Jama, R4J) or other requirements management system on the existing infrastructure.
  • Understand business requirements for the usage of the requirements management tools in use, and be the referee regarding which tool fits better each use-case.
  • Design and develop custom-made solutions for traceability, implementation & test status reports in the requirements management tools in use, with respect to the business requirements from this category of tools.
  • Proactively advice & support the Renesas Engineers with usage of the requirements management tools and provide coaching regarding the best practices for requirements management.
  • Coach the reports creation and usage of the tools according best practices, tool performance and aSPICE compliance.
  • Offer online training for Engineering staff regarding the configuration & usage of the tools in target.
  • Understand & drive end-to-end architecture for optimal performance of the tools.
  • Be the gatekeeper for the requirements management tools with respect to corporate compliance to standard.
  • Explore technologies/solutions for continuous improvements; prime technical Interface for the vendor communication.
  • Integrate the requirements management tools with the rest of the development tools in order to implement the best DevOps practices and facilitate the data flow.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent
  • Proven experience with Polarion, 3DS, Jama, DOORS, DOORS Next Gen, CodeBeamer, Requirements Yogy, R4J, TFS or other similar tools for requirements management or ALM / PLM systems – for both - usage and administration / configuration
  • Experience SQL, Javascript or similar technologies used in the landscape of tooling, used for building extension of the basic functionality of the tools in target.
  • Knowledge of aSPICE, ISO 26262, TISAX or similar standards can represent an advantage
  • Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous: automotive, tools and methods for software quality assurance, aSPICE, System test, development of safety critical systems, system or software architecture definition
  • Knowledge or experience with agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban or XP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
