Implementing security services, practices and procedures within the Company premises.<br /> ii. Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points<br /> iii. Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for reporting, and dealing with incidents when applicable<br /> iv. Ensuring that all the office windows are closed every day after the end of operations.<br /> v. Securing all exits, doors and windows after end of operations<br /> vi. Liaising with law enforcement in the case of suspected or reported criminal activity<br /> vii. Leading in cases of loss of company property and ensuring the case is finalized.<br /> viii. Planning and coordinating the security operations.<br /> ix. Continuous monitoring of office property for security purposes.<br /> x. Checking surveillance cameras (CCTV) periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful act.<br /> xi. Ensuring that all the reported cases on vandalism and stollen meter cases are acted upon<br /> xii. Examining the gate registers so as to monitor and control traffic movement.<br /> xiii. Visiting satellite offices weekly for security checks and operations.<br /> xiv. Investigating persons suspected for suspicious activities.<br /> xv. Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers within the company’s premises<br /> xvi. Maintaining database records both in soft and hard copies including those used to track safety and security data<br /> xvii. Responding to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers<br /> xviii. Representing the Company in court proceedings as expected<br /> xix. Ensuring that the outsourced security firms carry out their duties as expected by the Company.<br /> xx. Assisting in dealing with arising security matters including handling culprits.<br /> xxi. Preparing varied reports as required.<br /> xxii. Undertaking continuous professional development to keep up with trends within the industry.<br /> xxiii. Undertaking any other duties as may be assigned.</p> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience of a Security Officer Required </strong><br /> <strong>Key Qualifications and Experience</strong><br /> i. Degree /Higher National Diploma in Criminology or its equivalent<br /> ii. At least 6 years relevant working experience in the Police/Military service<br /> <strong>Key Skills</strong><br /> i.
