Your impact

We are seeking a technically strong and compliance-focused Senior Architect / Senior Architectural Associate to join our Architecture team in Singapore. This role is ideal for an architecture-qualified professional who thrives in multidisciplinary environments and is passionate about developing client relationships, managing projects and mentoring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client meetings, user engagements, and design discussions with professionalism and integrity.
  • Drive the design and delivery of healthcare and complex multi-disciplinary built environment projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards.
  • Oversee project management activities, including design coordination, resourcing, and contract administration, to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Champion technical excellence across all project phases, from concept to construction, ensuring quality documentation and coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent delivery and clear communication.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate systems into cohesive, compliant designs.
  • Lead programming, medical planning, and hospital design planning efforts.
  • Prepare and review design documentation, specifications, and reports
  • Support business development activities and contribute to project bids.
  • Participate in professional organisations and represent Jacobs at industry events.
  • Mentor junior architects and contribute to team development through knowledge-sharing and internal training.

Here's what you'll need

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess

  • An architectural degree recognised by the Singapore Board of Architects (BOA). Registration with the Singapore BOA will be a huge advantage.
  • Experience in healthcare project design work, especially in medical planning and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with utilising the international healthcare standards, such as HBN/HTM, AUSHFG and FGI.
  • Proven experience in construction administration, building codes, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Strong technical skills in design detailing, documentation, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in design and delivery.
  • Understanding of dRofus/Codebook will be an added advantage.
