In this hands-on role, you will contribute to project delivery, driving advanced cybersecurity initiatives for workloads within the arenaflex Cloud ecosystem. This position is onsite in New York City (Brooklyn area) 3 days per week, and remote 2 days per week. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage arenaflex Cloud infrastructure components, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, and security configurations. • Architect and optimize cloud environments for scalability, reliability, and arenaflex efficiency. • Build and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run. • Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform and Python to streamline deployments and configuration management. • Integrate DevOps practices for continuous delivery, monitoring, and operational excellence across cloud environments. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using arenaflex Cloud Monitoring and Logging to ensure high availability and proactive issue resolution. • Conduct root-cause analysis for cloud-related incidents and performance issues, ensuring timely remediation and prevention strategies. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design pragmatic, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. • Ensure compliance and security best practices across all cloud deployments, including identity management and data protection. • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks while delivering high-quality cloud solutions. • Perform technical due diligence for new cloud initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization and modernization. Requirements • arenaflex Professional Cloud Architect certification • Proficiency in code development and scripting in Python • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager) for automated provisioning and configuration. • Experience with Pub/Sub and Data ingestion • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and IAM best practices. • Proficiency in arenaflex Cloud services such as GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL. • Familiarity with arenaflex/CD pipelines, arenaflex Cloud Build and DevOps practices for cloud deployments. • Experience in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting using arenaflex Cloud Monitoring and Logging. • Cybersecurity fundamentals • More than 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or similar roles.
