Site: www.ptcbio.com Job Description Summary: Senior CRM System Administration primary duty is to improve business processes with technology and provide local functional and process support. Candidates must have a solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management, especially as it relates to the Commercial organization in the pharmaceutical industry, and experience with Salesforce enabling these functions. Candidate must be self-directed, be a great team player, and have excellent communication skills in order to be considered for this role. Preference given to those candidates who have experience in life sciences or FDA regulated industries. The Senior CRM System Administration ensures adherence to relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11, GDPR) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Act as a Business Analyst, working with the business to understand commercial (sales, Medical Science Liaison, Market Access, etc.) processes and requests for enabling appropriate solutions. • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup / deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports, data loader • Salesforce CRM administration • Sandbox environment management • DevOps / release management experience • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience • Identify unused or underutilized platform features • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer • User support tickets • Monitor and improve user adoption • New user and ongoing user training • Technical documentation • Management of integrated applications with a focus on Salesforce • Understand and support master data governance for commercial business processes. • Support and provide guidance on reporting needs • Respond to requests for power user support and be available to address Tier 1 support (process support, master data, user access, user support and other non-technical issues) • Maintain current knowledge base of solutions and work with Tier 2 and 3 support sustainment teams to facilitate technical break / fixes • Provide Commercial process support, best practices, and guidance as needed. • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects and day-to-day requests. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED: • Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field and a minimum of 5 years in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated environment OR equivalent experience and/or education. • Certified Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder (or Advanced Administrator), and/or Veeva CRM • Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates required. • 3+ years of relevant CRM System Admin Experience in Life Sciences • Experience with Veeva Nitro preferred • Advanced skill level with arenaflex Office, especially Excel • Strong communication and training skills, and patience • Ability to read, understand, and follow complex instructions • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members. • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects. • Travel requirements • Up to 10% travel • Remote EEO Statement: PTC Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer.
