Make your mark in Enterprise Risk Management As well as helping customers to manage risks, AIG faces a wide array of our own risks every day. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team partners across the AIG organization to inform strategic decision-making and to facilitate rational risk-taking that drives profitable growth. ERM ensures we have the right tools, processes and systems in place to identify, measure and manage our risks. As an ERM colleague, you can enhance your acumen by helping to shape and support our approach to risk. How you will create an impact As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will support the Head of Risk to effectively deliver the risk management activities and to foster a strong risk culture across the business. Key accountabilities will include (but are not limited to): Assist in the maintenance of a robust risk management framework for AIG Singapore that is in line with Group-wide ERM policies as well as local regulatory expectations. Contribute to the identification, measurement, management, monitoring and reporting of AIG Singapore’s major risk categories. Lead the preparations and facilitate the Annual Top Risks Workshop conducted with key stakeholders. Lead the ongoing development of the Environmental Risk Management / Sustainability framework. Lead the risk assessments and periodic reviews conducted for Outsourcing and Third-Party Arrangements. Lead the roll out of ERM-related training programs to foster and sustain an effective risk culture and awareness level within the organization. Lead the sessions with various stakeholders to develop and refresh the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA). As a senior member of the team, represent ERM in key discussions to provide insights from risk management perspective. Work closely with all departments to identify, evaluate and monitor key and emerging risks that could impact AIG Singapore’s business operations, and ensure that there are appropriate controls identified to manage these risks. Support the risk assessments conducted to comply with MAS Guidelines on Individual Accountability and Conduct. Oversight of the operational risk event in terms of collection, quality, review and reporting. Maintenance of the risk reporting database and systems to administer RCSA, control testing and loss events. Facilitate the preparation and collation of risk reports and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the quarterly Senior Management’s Risk & Capital Committee meetings and for the Board Risk Management Committee meetings. Collection and review of reports submitted to the Risk & Capital Committee for reporting. Assist in producing AIG Singapore’s Risk Appetite Statements, Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) Report as well as other regulatory reporting when required. Coordinate with Actuarial & Catastrophe Modelling teams to support the performance of stress testing and scenario modelling to meet MAS Industry Wide Stress Test requirements. Perform risk assessments for business plan reviews, product deep-dive, major initiatives and business development, and support any other adhoc ERM projects/initiatives. Maintenance of the Risk Management Department’s records. What you’ll need to succeed Education background in insurance or risk management is preferred. Experience in insurance or financial services industry, risk management or audit is preferred. Familiar with MAS regulations for direct general insurers. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Good team player with the attitude to excel. High analytical ability and strong writing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with good attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential. Good problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
