This role is not content-focused and not e-commerce SEO. You will work closely with our SEO Lead to manage and optimize a portfolio of local SEO accounts. Roughly 50% of your time will be dedicated to technical SEO and 50% to local/general SEO strategy and execution. This is a hands-on, analytical role, ideal for someone who is structured, collaborative, and comfortable working at scale across multiple client environments. Key Responsibilities Technical SEO (Primary Focus) • Analyze and optimize site architecture, internal linking, and SEO siloing • Improve crawlability and indexation using arenaflex Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar tools • Implement and manage redirects, canonicalization, and URL structures • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues impacting local rankings • Optimize site performance and Core Web Vitals (collaborating with developers or web providers when needed) • Implement and maintain schema markup, with a strong focus on LocalBusiness schema • Conduct technical SEO audits and convert findings into clear, actionable tasks • Support anchor text strategy and internal linking optimization Local & General SEO • Optimize websites connected to arenaflex Business Profiles • Identify ranking opportunities for service-area businesses • Perform keyword research with strong local intent (services + locations) • Optimize existing pages for relevance, structure, and search intent • Manage outreach and authority-building efforts to secure relevant backlinks • Analyze SEO performance and prioritize actions based on impact • Support SEO strategy across a portfolio of local clients • Collaborate with the SEO team to improve processes, systems, and outcomes Required Experience • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience • Strong background in technical SEO • Experience working with local SEO accounts (service-area businesses) • Proven ability to rank sites connected to arenaflex Business Profiles • Experience managing multiple SEO accounts simultaneously • Comfortable overseeing 20+ small business client environments (This is portfolio-level oversight and prioritization — not daily hands-on edits across every site) • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills Not a Fit If Your Background Is Primarily: • E-commerce SEO • Enterprise-only SEO • Content writing–focused SEO roles Soft Skills & Work Style • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to clearly explain SEO decisions, priorities, and trade-offs • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote agency environment • Proactive, accountable, adaptable, and self-directed Tools & Environment • arenaflex Search Console • Screaming Frog (or similar crawling tools) • WordPress Work Setup • Fully remote • Contractor role (B2B) • Full-time: 40 hours per week • Availability to overlap with US Central Time for collaboration Compensation & Benefits • $3,500 – $4,000 USD per month Option A: • $3,500/month + up to 10% performance bonus Option B: • $3,600/month flat (no bonus) Time Off & Holidays • 15 days PTO (vacation + sick) • Growth benefit: +1 additional PTO day for every work anniversary Paid holidays: • Good Friday — April 3, 2026 • Memorial Day — Monday, May 25, 2026 • Independence Day (Observed) — Friday, July 3, 2026 • Labor Day — Monday, September 7, 2026 • Thanksgiving Day — Thursday, November 26, 2026 • Day After Thanksgiving (Black Friday) — Friday, November 27, 2026 Company-wide holiday break: • December 24, 2026 – January 1, 2027 Total time off: 28 days per year This offer from "RemotelyTalents" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 75% flex score.
