Our client, a global leader in supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst to join their fully remote operations team. This role is paramount in optimizing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of our client's extensive logistics network. You will leverage data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and implement innovative strategies across warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. This is a remote-first position, enabling you to contribute significantly from anywhere. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain principles, advanced analytical techniques, and familiarity with supply chain management software. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations will be key to driving continuous improvement and maintaining a competitive edge. Responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing supply chain data (e.g., inventory levels, transportation costs, delivery times, warehouse throughput) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to reduce costs, enhance service levels, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Optimizing warehouse operations through network design, layout analysis, and process improvements.
- Evaluating and selecting transportation modes and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Managing inventory levels to balance stock availability with carrying costs.
- Designing and maintaining performance dashboards and reports to track key logistics metrics.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and customer service to align supply chain activities with business objectives.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic** supply chain initiatives.
