Job Title: Technology Manager Location: US, various Travel: 25%25 Key Responsibilities: • Cloud Architecture & Design: o Design and implement cloud-based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations. o Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services for specific business requirements. o Create and maintain cloud infrastructure diagrams and documentation. • Infrastructure Management: o Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines, networks, storage, and other GCP resources. o Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. o Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance and availability. • Application Development & Deployment: o Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. o Integrate with other GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub. o Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance in the cloud. • Security & Compliance: o Implement and maintain security best practices and controls within the GCP environment. o Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (HIPAA, SOC 2). o Monitor for and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities. • Collaboration & Communication: o Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, operations, security) to deliver successful cloud projects. o Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members. Required Skills & Experience: • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices. • Hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage). • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
