The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change. Your Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be based out of Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or Harrisburg, PA. Per hiring manager discretion, the ideal candidate can be based in other markets within the overall territory As a Technology Sales Specialist for John Deere Construction & Forestry, Sales and Marketing covering the Northeast territory (PA, NY, CT, MA, NH, VT, ME), you will:

Responsibilities

  • Support John Deere C&F Dealers in the sales and support of SmartGrade and Precision Construction Technology solutions
  • Drive dealer development and engagement for Precision Construction Technologies
  • Support on-site precision construction technology training to Dealers and Customers.
  • Collaborate with development teams on customer validation of new products and continuous improvement updates.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%

Requirements

  • Experience with Grade Control or GNSS technology (development, deployment, training, or support) or construction technology
  • Experience collaborating with and supporting dealers/distributors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Presentation and/or training experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Crawlers, Graders, Excavators, or Compact Track Loaders equipped with SmartGrade™ Integrated GradeControl
  • Experience as a Surveyor, GPS Manager, Grade Control Specialist, or Technology Specialist within the Construction industry or with a distributor
  • Technology training experience
  • Analytic experience/background
  • Knowledge of the order fulfillment process
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, Business, or similar experience
