Job Summary:

Warehouse Laborer is responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including, but not limited to; general cleaning of warehouse facility, assisting in manually stacking, re-stacking, or sorting of palletized goods, loading and unloading trucks, manually unloading container shipments for storage in warehouse facilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate various motorized lift equipment to perform routine tasks including, but not limited to, product movement, stock handling, and assisting in loading & unloading shipments as needed
  • Perform routine warehouse duties
  • Assist in putting raw materials and finished goods in the correct zones after receiving
  • May float between job tasks from filling, loading, labeling, and sanitation in a variety of zones based on the needs of the business
  • Cleaning & sanitization along with zone/warehouse cleaning & maintenance as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing the trash daily
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

  • Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
  • Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
  • Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills

Experience, Education, and Training -

  • High school diploma/GED required

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is subject to the following requirements:

  • To see, talk, and hear
  • Use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type
  • Walk, sit, stand, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Exposed to strong aromas of spice, allergens, and particulates in the air
